The Opportunity:

We’re hiring a Staff Backend Engineer to drive foundational engineering across several high-leverage product areas, including:

Real-time Log Analytics ingesting, indexing & querying large-scale data with extreme performance requirements
AI-Native / Talk-to-Data redefining how enterprises interact with analytics
Semantic Governance Layer powering AI accuracy through context, metadata & enterprise-grade controls
Application Runtime Platform one of the fastest-growing products, integrating k8s, networking, app builders & AI agents

This is an opportunity to architect systems that define industry standards, not just incremental features.

What You’ll Do:

Design & build large-scale distributed backend systems used by thousands of global enterprises
Ship platform components that impact AI, analytics, governance and developer productivity
Work in service-oriented architecture & high-performance data infrastructure
Contribute to multi-year technical vision with iterative, high-value deliverables
Collaborate with exceptional engineers across AI/infra/data/security domains

What You Bring:

10+ years of backend engineering experience at production scale
Mastery in Java, Scala, or C++ (deep systems instincts required)
Strong CS fundamentals algorithms, data structures, distributed systems
Experience with SaaS or service-oriented cloud architectures
Deep familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, or Docker
Comfort working with SQL & secure, data-sensitive workloads
High ownership mindset motivated by compounding customer impact
