We are seeking a highly organised and motivated, marketing communications and business development assistant. Personality and team fit are important in a small team, but in this varied role we need someone who is organised, enthusiastic, flexible, and a quick learner, with attention to detail. You might have just left school or recently graduated from university or college, looking for a first step in a marketing career, or perhaps you have already spent some time in a marketing role or team and want to try something different.
The successful candidate will work in a supportive, collegiate team. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Business Development, this role will be responsible for supporting all areas of marketing, business development and some client services activity, specifically:
Team and diary management - meetings, agendas, away days, socials, activity deadline management
Systems and filing - systems filing, central calendar management, invoice management, subscriptions and membership coordination, contact database support
Digital - website maintenance support, photography coordination, digital reporting support, website inbox management, mailing list support, social media monitoring and support, intranet content and marketing inbox support
Business Development and client service - acting as the marketing “helpdesk” for general enquiries, research support for pitches and targeting
Client services - ad hoc support as required by the Director of Client Services, including assistance to the Business Development team around client feedback collation and dissemination
Merchandise - Supporting sourcing and management of firm merchandise
Events and awards - support to internal and events ranging from supporting awards submissions and tables for attendance, to end to end support of selected internal and external events supporting the events team where required
Technical Skills And Expertise
Strong organisational and time management skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and social media platforms
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, able to develop good working relationships with internal clients and third parties
Ability to work as part of a team and also independently
Great attention to detail
