Compensation: £200,000 - £250,000

Location: Global (supporting co-location sites in major financial markets worldwide)

About the Role:

Data Centre Operations Manager to oversee the design, operation, and management of a global data center and co-location infrastructure. This role involves ensuring high performance, security, and availability across critical systems that support research and trading activities in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full lifecycle of data center and co-location operations, including design, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning.
Oversee capacity planning, operational monitoring, and automation to ensure optimal performance.
Lead operational excellence by implementing robust security and reliability standards.
Collaborate with infrastructure teams (compute, network, storage) to deliver scalable solutions.
Build strong relationships with global vendors to ensure seamless operations.
Stay informed on emerging trends and technologies to drive innovation.

Your Skills and Expertise:

Extensive experience managing large-scale, high-performance data center operations.
Expertise in capacity management, telemetry, and operational best practices.
Knowledge of co-location environments and infrastructure for low-latency systems.
Strong leadership and vendor management skills, with a global perspective.
