Position Summary

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Experienced Investment Banking Analyst to join their Chicago office. This is a near-term hiring need, and the ideal candidate will be available to join the team promptly. The Analyst will play an integral role across all stages of M&A, special situations, and financing transactions, working closely with senior bankers, clients, and counterparties. This position offers meaningful responsibility, direct client exposure, and the opportunity to contribute to high-impact domestic and international transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed financial models including DCF, comparable company, precedent transaction, and LBO analyses
Conduct thorough industry and company research to support transaction execution and business development
Prepare client deliverables such as confidential information presentations (CIPs), management presentations, and pitch materials
Support deal execution, including due diligence, process management, and data room activities
Interact with clients, investors, and other stakeholders throughout the deal process

Qualifications

2+ years of full-time experience in investment banking (internship time not included)
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
A positive attitude and desire to learn how to do deals and grow professionally
Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High degree of professionalism, initiative, and ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
Availability to begin in the near term is preferred
