Overview
NE04J Application Developer
Client is seeking a highly experienced Lead Neo4j Application Developer to join our Technology Solutions team. This role will lead the design and development of graph-based applications using Neo4j, while leveraging modern enterprise technologies including Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Tomcat, Jenkins, and Nexus. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a passion for building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of Neo4j-based applications.
Design and implement backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using Angular.
Manage application deployment and configuration on Apache Tomcat.
Write and optimize Cypher queries for graph data modeling and retrieval.
Integrate Neo4j with RESTful APIs and enterprise systems.
Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
Manage build artifacts and dependencies using Nexus Repository Manager.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to code quality through reviews and best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Neo4j and Cypher.
Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
Experience with Apache Tomcat, Jenkins, and Nexus.
Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with Git, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with GraphQL and Neo4j GraphQL integrations.
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Exposure to graph visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Cytoscape.js).
Anti-Money Laundering (AML) or enterprise application experience is a plus.
