Job Title: Sr DevOps Engineer
Location: Boston MA and New Jersey – Onsite
DevOps Architect having > 10 years of DevOps experience in design, development and operationalizing a CI/CD framework completely, across a hybrid infrastructure that includes both AWS-hosted services and on-premises systems.
Key Activities -
Establishes promotion workflows from Dev to QA to Staging to Production
Enables PartnerLab as a dedicated integration environment that does not directly promote to production
Introduces feature flags, progressive delivery, and automated rollback capabilities
Provides observability and monitoring standards across all environments
Integrates database build, migration, and refresh automation, including anonymized lower-environment refreshes from production data
Enables automated and manual validation of every product in each environment
Implements comprehensive test automation (unit, regression, integration, performance)
Skills Needed –
Core Platforms
AWS (ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, IAM, CloudWatch) is mandatory
Familiarity with on-premises infrastructure solutions including VM-based, physical servers, and internal network orchestration
GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions (workflow authoring, runners, environments)
Terraform for infrastructure as code and hybrid resource provisioning
Build, Test, and Automation
CI/CD pipeline orchestration across hybrid AWS and on-premises topologies
Containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
Automated testing frameworks for unit, integration, regression, and performance testing
Feature flag platforms such as LaunchDarkly or equivalent
Static and dynamic code analysis tools such as SonarQube and Fortify
Database and Data Management
Required: Proven hands-on experience with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server
Database schema management and migration automation
Data masking and anonymization for non-production environments
Automated database refresh pipelines with integrity validation
Observability and Reliability
Monitoring and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch
Log aggregation and tracing using ELK or OpenTelemetry
Implementation of automated rollback and progressive delivery strategies
Security and Governance
Secrets management with HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, or equivalent
Compliance with enterprise change control and deployment governance
Implementation of least-privilege access and artifact integrity verification
Soft Skills and Delivery
Experience in regulated or financial services environments
Strong documentation and communication discipline
Ability to collaborate with different teams in an onshore delivery model
