Job Specifications

UI Front-End Developer – Local to Ashburn, VA

Build responsive, dynamic single-page applications (SPAs) using modern front-end frameworks
Develop reusable UI components and libraries adhering to security and accessibility standards
Collaborate with backend engineers, DevOps, and product owners in an Agile, sprint-based environment
Participate in architecture discussions, sprint planning, and peer code reviews
Deploy front-end applications securely in cloud environments using CI/CD pipelines
Ensure all solutions comply with Section 508 accessibility, performance, and security requirements
Work onsite in Ashburn, VA (5 days/week for the first year; hybrid option afterward)
Able to obtain DHS/ Public Trust clearance
Prefer candidates with strong academic backgrounds and experience in reputable engineering or federal contracting environments
Utilize strong JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 skills; experience with React (preferred), Angular, or Vue
Integrate front-end with REST APIs and service-driven backend environments (e.g., Spring Boot)
Use Agile tools such as JIRA, Git, Jenkins; exposure to AWS or Azure cloud platforms
Desired: prior federal program experience, active/previous clearance, experience with Docker/Kubernetes, secure coding, Section 508 compliance
