Job Title: Java Developer
Rate: £400 (Inside IR35)
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Hybrid - Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Blackpool, Glasgow or Cardiff
Clearance: BPSS
Stages: 2 Stages
Must have Government experience
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using Java, Node.js, and TypeScript.
Write efficient and secure Shell Scripts to support automation and system tasks.
Work within a Linux environment to deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality code.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes.
Ensure best practices in software development, including version control, CI/CD, and documentation.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven professional experience in Java and Node.js development.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
Hands-on experience with Linux systems.
Proficiency in writing and maintaining Shell Scripts.
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
