Job Title: RPA Engineer

London (2-3 days weekly from office)

Job Type: Inside IR35 Contract

Job Summary

The RPA Engineer will design, develop, and implement automation solutions to streamline business processes and enhance operational efficiency. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to identify automation opportunities, configure RPA and intelligent automation tools, and deliver scalable, AI-enabled solutions that align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Process Analysis & Design
Collaborate with business teams to assess processes and identify automation opportunities.
Document workflows and create detailed process maps for automation.
Development & Implementation
Design, develop, and deploy RPA bots using platforms such as UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere.
Configure and integrate RPA solutions with existing applications and databases.
Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of bots.
Maintenance & Support
Monitor and maintain RPA solutions post-deployment.
Troubleshoot issues and implement fixes promptly.
Update bots to accommodate changes in business processes or systems.
Governance & Compliance
Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and quality standards.
Maintain documentation for all automation processes and updates.
Collaboration & Training
Work with cross-functional teams including IT, business analysts, and vendors.
Provide training and support to end-users and junior developers.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in couple of RPA tools: UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere.
Experience with automation intelligence tools and frameworks: Vertex AI, GenAI models, IDP/OCR solutions, NLP engines, workflow orchestration tools.
Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and API integrations.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and containerisation.
Understanding of AI/ML concepts and integration into automation workflows.

Other Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good understanding of SDLC and agile delivery methodologies.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
RPA certifications (UiPath Certified Professional, Blue Prism Developer, etc.) preferred.
