Your role as AI Strategy Consultant

As an AI Strategy Consultant, you play a key role within the Start AI program. You support organizations in making strategic AI decisions and translate them into concrete, actionable applications.

You work directly with management and teams, facilitate workshops, conduct interviews and deliver clear, high-quality AI recommendations. You take ownership of your projects and are given the freedom to experiment and test new ideas.

What you will do

Your time is roughly equally divided between:

1. Inspiration & client interaction

Delivering and facilitating Start AI workshops

Guiding interactive sessions with teams and management

Acting as a trusted sparring partner for clients

2. Strategy & analysis

Conducting interviews with management and employees

Analyzing processes, challenges and opportunities

Developing AI strategies and concrete use cases

3. Advisory & follow-up trajectories

Delivering strong, action-oriented deliverables

Thinking along on next steps and further collaboration

Proactively advising clients and identifying opportunities

You work autonomously, in close collaboration with the team.

You report to the Start AI Lead and the founders.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who takes responsibility and gets energy from working at the intersection of strategy, technology and people. You will strengthen the Start AI team in a full-time role, on a permanent or freelance basis.

You have:

At least 2 years of relevant work experience
Experience with or strong affinity for AI and generative AI tools
A bachelor’s degree
Fluent in Dutch
Very strong professional proficiency in English
French is a nice to have

You are:

Based in Belgium
Entrepreneurial and independent
Strong in analysis and strategic thinking
Communicative and client-oriented, also towards senior management
A strong facilitator who can engage and guide groups
Curious, eager to learn and motivated to continuously grow

A passive or wait-and-see attitude
Purely theoretical work without a practical mindset
Lack of ownership or initiative
