Company Description

ZE-Charge provides an innovative solution to the challenges of electric vehicle charging. The company focuses on the development of Automated Conductive Device Underbody (ACDU) technology, which enables seamless static and dynamic charging for electric vehicles without driver intervention. With capacities ranging from 2kW for cars to 400kW for trucks, ZE-Charge aims to standardize efficient and scalable charging solutions. Currently, the first prototype is being installed on a Tesla Model 3 Highland, with plans for an ambitious Proof of Concept in a progressive urban environment.

Role Description

This is a remote, contract position as a Technical Lead, responsible for overseeing the development and execution of technical projects related to the ACDU technology. Key responsibilities include leading engineering teams, designing technical solutions, implementing scalable systems, and ensuring high-quality project delivery. The role also entails collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting technical challenges, and driving innovation to enhance the performance of ZE-Charge's charging solutions.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in engineering disciplines, including system design, hardware, and software integration
Proficiency with electric vehicle technology and experience with charging infrastructure and power systems
Leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of managing technical engineering projects
Problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities to address technical issues effectively
Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment and communicate effectively across teams
Experience with automotive prototypes and Proof of Concept (POC) projects is a plus
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
