Summary:
The main function of the Data Analyst is to provide business intelligence support and supporting areas by means of both repeatable and ad hoc reporting delivery reports (charts, graphs, tables, etc) that enable informed business decisions.
Responsibilities:
Implement data validation processes to maintain data integrity for accuracy and reliability through regular audits
Perform statistical analysis and data modeling to identify trends, patterns, or correlations
Translate complex data insights into actionable solution through story telling
Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure accurate data and methodology
Analyze field team incentive programs performance metrics, audits and reporting
Manage Field Mapping program for field teams including creation, implementation, updates, and performance impacts
Support capacity planning for field teams including creation, implementation and reporting of usage and performance impacts
Support national retail meeting events with logistics, tracking, and platform support
Develop dashboards that present complex data in a visually appealing and easily understandable format
Analyze budget spend for payment invoices and expenses by leveraging data analysis techniques to track, analyze, audit, and report
Work directly with the Finance team to ensure effective budget management, optimize resource allocation, and support strategic decision making and ROI
Analyzes performance of process activities, identifies problem areas, and presents findings in clear, concise charts, graphs, tables, or summaries.
Establishes standardized methods of recording, tracking and reporting on activity.
Design, implement, automate and maintain large scale enterprise data ETL processes.
Modify existing databases and database management systems and/or direct programmers and analysts to make changes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years ‘experience
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
High proficiency in Power Point, Word and Excel
Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
Advanced proficiency with power point presentations that tell a story of the data and provide executive level insights including improvement plans with next steps
Strength in working cross functionally, harnessing a collaborative team environment and being able to lead project work within a large dynamic team
Adaptability to move at the pace of retail and work in a constantly evolving environment, making decisive decisions when needed
Ability to analyze large sets of data and pivot into high level data summaries
Outstanding written and communications skills, time management, and organization skill
Experience handling time-sensitive and confidential business information
Desired Skills:
Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction.
Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of one or more key information service standards such as SDLC, ITIL, QA/testing, Project Management, Six Sigma, etc.
Strong PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint.
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $44.00 - $47.00 /hour. As a non-exempt position, this role will be eligible for overtime, at 1.5 times the base rate, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
