About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Data Business Analyst to support a major cloud migration project. This role involves working closely with technical teams to analyse, design, and transition Legacy data warehouse feeds to modern cloud-based platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed analysis of Legacy data feeds, including schema structures, transformations, access controls, and queries, to assess suitability for cloud migration.
Design optimised data models and structures for the new cloud platform, ensuring consistency, scalability, and performance.
Collaborate with data engineers and architects to document changes in schemas, transformation logic, and query structures for the cloud environment.
Develop and execute comprehensive test cases for data pipelines to ensure data quality, integrity, and functionality throughout the migration life cycle.
Support data discovery and analysis activities to enable smooth migration and integration.
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Data Business Analyst in large-scale data migration or cloud transformation projects.
Strong understanding of data warehousing, schema design, and data modelling principles.
Hands-on experience with data analysis, transformation logic, and query optimisation.
Ability to create and execute test cases for data pipelines
Hands-on experience in AWS.
Excellent documentation and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Active Security Clearance required.
