Job Title: Senior Frontend Developer

Location: Toronto(5-Days Onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

Own the design and delivery of high quality features and enhancements.
Provide estimates and actively participate in the spring planning process.
Produce highly secure solutions.
Tune the performance of the existing codebase and peer review code.
Work closely with the technical lead and team members to design and plan components and interaction patterns, actively participating in design discussions and decision-making processes.
Participate in technical and architecture discussions about our front-end applications

Qualifications and Skills

Front-end development experience and knowledge of Javascript modern frameworks like React or Vue.js.
Experience writing and working with REST APIs.
Collaborate with other cross-functional teams working on features for our customers
Familiarity with automated build pipelines; continuous integration or continuous delivery
Proven experience using code repositories such as GitHub.
Demonstrated ability to work closely with UX designers and Product owners to deliver the best UX for our customers
Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality code using automated tests for unit tests and end-to-end tests (using Jest, Cypress, Playwright)
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast pace customer centric environment.
5+ years of experience in web application development using Agile methodologies.
Excellent communication and organization skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.

Nice to have

Experience with A/B testing
Familiarity with deploying to cloud providers in and container-based distributed systems (Docker).
Familiarity with *nix like environments

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $100,000 - $140,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skill, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
