This role sits within Digital Services – Geospatial, which is part of Arup's broader Digital portfolio. This team works across disciplines delivering geospatial services such as data advisory, analysis, visualisation , and enterprise GIS solutions .

The Opportunity

As a Geospatial Specialist Summer Intern, you will support the Digital Services team in delivering innovative geospatial solutions across major infrastructure projects. The role involves working with spatial data management, analysis, and visualisation, contributing to process automation and integration of emerging technologies such as AR/VR. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop workflows and provide insights that enhance project outcomes, gaining hands-on experience in applying geospatial tools to real-world challenges.

This 6–12-week Summer Internship is designed to give interns hands-on experience with geospatial technologies and workflows, contributing to high-profile projects in sectors like Water and Highways.

Is this role right for you?

Whilst we prefer our candidates to have an academic background working towards a relevant Geography or Computer Science degree, we will consider applicants from other subjects who can demonstrate sufficient experience and interest in Geospatial Technology.
