Position: Bilingual STEM Expert (French & English)

Referral Partner: Crossing Hurdles

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $24.5–$45.5/hour

Location: Remote

Duration: 2–3 months initially (with potential extension)

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week, fully remote and asynchronous

Role Responsibilities:

Content Evaluation & Auditing: Review AI-generated STEM content (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) in both French and English to ensure technical correctness, logical flow, and clarity.
Multilingual Translation Validation: Ensure French and English translations preserve meaning, scientific accuracy, and technical terminology.
Annotation & Feedback: Provide structured feedback, identify translation errors, and refine guidelines for STEM reasoning tasks.
STEM Problem-Solving: Apply domain expertise to validate explanations, problem-solving steps, and technical reasoning across multiple STEM subjects.

Requirements:

Master’s degree or PhD in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related).
Fluency in both French and English (spoken and written).
Strong professional experience in STEM or related fields.
Prior experience in curriculum design, annotation, technical translation, or AI content review preferred.
Strong analytical skills and ability to explain complex STEM concepts clearly.
High attention to detail and logical consistency.
Access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks not supported).
