Join a digital transformation program in a large industrial environment, where you will strengthen the Local Supply Chain IT team for a multi-year Order Planning integration initiative. This long-term assignment offers a mix of functional analysis, system understanding, technical investigation, and close collaboration with both business and development teams.

About the Role

You will be part of a major integration project starting in 2026, connecting a new transversal Order Planning platform with existing local applications. From day one, you take an active role in requirements analysis, impact assessments, coordination of developers, testing, and preparing smooth go-lives.

This assignment operates fully in Agile/Scrum with monthly sprints and a close partnership between business, IT analysts, and on/offshore development teams.

What You Will Do

Dive deep into the new Order Planning platform and the existing local applications.
Act as the liaison between IT and business stakeholders.
Perform detailed IT analysis and impact assessments based on features and user stories.
Guide and follow up the work of on- and offshore developers.
Read and understand Mainframe code (PL/I & Cool:Gen) as well as .NET components for reverse engineering.
Prepare and execute functional and integration tests.
Take end-to-end ownership for go-lives and solution quality.
Contribute to Agile ceremonies, documentation and project administration.

What are we looking for?

Je hebt minimaal 3 tot 5 jaar ervaring als IT analist.
Je bent in staat om complexe problemen en processen te abstraheren, analyseren en structureren.
Je hebt sterke vaardigheden in reverse engineering.
Je bent bereid om Mainframe code (PL/I & Cool:Gen) en .NET te lezen en begrijpen.
Je bent nauwgezet bij het analyseren, implementeren en testen van software.
Je bent communicatief sterk en kan goed in teamverband werken.
Je hebt een snelle inwerking in een nieuwe omgeving.
Je hebt kennis van het Nederlands of bent bereid dit op korte termijn te leren; je kunt ook een gesprek voeren in het Engels.
Je hebt een vlotte reisweg naar de site in Gent.
