Today, more intelligence is moving to end devices, and mobile is becoming the pervasive AI platform. Building on the smartphone foundation and the scale of mobile, Qualcomm envisions making AI ubiquitous - expanding beyond mobile and powering other end devices, machines, vehicles, and things. We are inventing, developing, and commercializing power-efficient on-device AI, edge cloud AI, and 5G to make this a reality.
The AI Processor System software team is looking for talented and passionate engineers to develop and deliver novel embedded AI solutions to enable state-of-the-art AI models on auto platforms for millions of end users.

C & C++
Python
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of ML frameworks (TF, Python, ONNX)
Experience with Linux/Android/QNX development environments and toolchains.
Knowledge of machine learning concepts and model structures.
Knowledge on deep learning and popular frameworks is an asset.
Educational Requirements
In study towards a bachelor’s degree in one of the following: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering Science, Computer Science, or related field
Eligible candidates must have a graduation date in December 2027 or later, including May or June 2028.
For 16-month internships: must be available May/June 2026 - August/September 2027
For 12-month internships: must be available May/June 2026 - May/June 2027
Work Location: This is a full-time, onsite position based in Markham. The role requires working from our office five days a week. Hybrid or remote work arrangements are not available.
