IT Network Administrator

We are seeking an experienced IT Network Administrator to support and enhance the performance, security, and reliability of our branch network infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with global teams, work with emerging technologies, and contribute to the ongoing development of our network environment.
Key Responsibilities
Network Operations and Security Management
Manage daily network operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Monitor and analyse network performance; resolve operational issues and incidents promptly.
Diagnose and resolve various types of network failures; manage support tickets with third-party vendors.
Perform scheduled and ad-hoc network health checks to mitigate risks.
Coordinate hardware repairs, replacements, and participate in disaster recovery activities, including drills and documentation.
Network Architecture Optimization and Technical Standards Development
Design and optimize network architecture following industry best practices and HQ standards.
Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve network performance.
Update and refine network management standards based on HQ requirements and local business needs.
Network Asset Management
Maintain updated network topology diagrams and asset records.
Manage VLANs, IP addresses, DNS, domain environments, and firewall configurations.
Oversee lifecycle management of network devices, including procurement, installation, cabling, labelling, inspections, and replacement.
Network Version and Patch Management
Install, configure, patch, and maintain network infrastructure supporting HQ and branch data centres.
Coordinate planned network upgrades with HQ teams and third-party vendors.
Perform firmware and version updates for network and security devices.
Network Business and Financial Management
Liaise with network vendors and contribute to budgeting, procurement, contracting, invoice review, and payment processes.
Ensure service quality, cost control, and compliance with SLAs in collaboration with Information Security and Risk teams.
Collaboration and Support
Work closely with cross-functional technical teams on network-related initiatives.
Provide technical support and knowledge-sharing to IT staff.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in network administration within a business environment.
Strong knowledge of network topology, LANs, VPNs, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and firewalls.
Experience using network monitoring and management tools.
Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin).
