About the role

Olive Jar Digital is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support a major programme focused on improving customer insight and data-driven decision-making. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary delivery team, enabling high-quality data flows, survey optimisation, and analysis products across key digital services.

Responsibilities

Review and streamline existing customer satisfaction (CSAT) survey structures.
Integrate and optimise survey metadata to reduce burden on participants and improve accuracy.
Implement improvements to survey design within Qualtrics and ensure robust data flow between Salesforce and downstream systems.
Support the delivery of data pipelines and processes required for analytics products, reporting and insight dashboards (e.g., Power BI).
Work closely with delivery managers, analysts, and SMEs to ensure data is accessible, accurate, well-structured and documented.
Contribute to knowledge transfer by documenting processes, pipelines, data flows, and configuration changes.
Participate in workshops and validation sessions where required.

About You

Proven experience as a Data Engineer in complex digital or analytical environments.
Strong experience with Salesforce data and data integration patterns.
Practical experience working with Qualtrics or similar survey platforms.
Understanding of survey design, metadata structures, and optimisation for user experience.
Experience building, maintaining, or improving data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
Proficiency with cloud data platforms and tools (e.g., Azure, Purview).
Ability to work with cross-functional teams in an Agile delivery environment.
Strong documentation and knowledge-transfer skills.
