Position: QE- Python/SQL
Location: Toronto ON

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools in Python to validate data flows and business rules across ETL pipelines.
Create and execute automated test cases for data extraction, transformation, and loading, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and end to end data integrity.
Develop basic to intermediate SQL queries (or learn on the job) for data profiling, reconciliation, and defect analysis across source, staging, and target systems.
Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and QA to understand data models, mappings, and transformations, and translate them into test scenarios and automation coverage.
Monitor scheduled ETL jobs, investigate failures, and contribute to root cause analysis and resolution for data quality issues.
Document test plans, automated scripts, and test results, and contribute to continuous improvement of test frameworks and best practices.
