Role: Senior Machine Learning Engineer
Location: Austin
Salary: $180,000 + Equity
We’re partnering with a rapidly growing robotics technology company developing advanced AI for autonomous systems across multiple domains. Their platforms enable operators to manage and coordinate several vehicles simultaneously, using intelligent decision-making and, optionally, voice-based interaction. They are seeking a hands-on ML engineer to design, build, and scale core machine learning capabilities across the full development lifecycle.
The Role
Design, train, and deploy ML models for real-world autonomous systems
Own the full ML lifecycle: data pipelines, model experimentation, evaluation, and production deployment
Deploy, optimize, and maintain models on edge hardware, including NVIDIA Jetson platforms
Collaborate closely with robotics, software, and field engineering teams to integrate ML into live systems
Optional: develop audio/speech ML pipelines for voice-based control and real-time audio understanding
Participate in data collection, testing, and validation in real-world or simulated environments
Requirements
Strong experience in general ML model development, deployment, and optimization
Experience with edge or resource-constrained deployment (NVIDIA Jetson, ARM, or similar)
Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.)
Experience building and maintaining robust data pipelines and experiment tracking infrastructure
Bonus: background in audio/speech ML, signal processing, or voice interfaces
Comfortable with collaborative, hands-on work that may involve field testing
