Description:
We’re looking for a Java Developer to join our high-performing team supporting critical commercial business applications for US Gas Transmission & Midstream (GTM).
Key Responsibilities
Drive all phases of the software life cycle: analysis, design, development, testing, maintenance, and documentation.
Develop and support complex applications leveraging Java and related technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
Review issues, implement fixes, and prevent reoccurrences.
Identify and implement process improvements using emerging technologies.
Ensure compliance with security, business continuity, and industry standards.
Monitor and optimize software performance.
Required Skills
Degree in Computer Science or related field.
0–3 years of web application development experience.
Hands-on knowledge of Java, Web Services, CSS, XML/XSLT, HTML, JavaScript, Junit, Oracle SQL.
Understanding of OOP, design patterns, Spring framework, data structures, algorithms, multithreading, and performance tuning.
Familiarity with SDLC, coding standards, source code management, and unit testing.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
Exposure to JSON, ORM, C#, IIS, ASP.Net.
Experience with GIT, DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, cloud computing.
Knowledge of industry regulations (NAESB, FERC, SOX).
Understanding of gas pipeline business.
Familiarity with Agile methodology.
