Are you ready to shape the future of platform engineering in a dynamic, international environment? We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Domain Manager to lead our Platform Engineering function, driving innovation and operational excellence across our cloud and infrastructure landscape.
As Domain Manager Platform Engineering, you will be responsible for the strategic direction, delivery, and continuous improvement of our platform engineering capabilities. You will lead a talented team, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and ensure our platforms are robust, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the platform engineering strategy in alignment with cloud and infrastructure goals.
Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and high performance.
Strengthen efficiency & quality by overseeing the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of platform services, including automation, CI/CD, container orchestration, and cloud-native technologies.
Partner with business and technology leaders to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient platforms that support enterprise applications and digital transformation.
Drive continuous improvement, adopting best practices in DevOps, SRE, and agile methodologies.
Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service delivery for platform-related solutions.
Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and architectural standards.
Report on platform performance, capacity, and cost optimization to senior leadership.
Who are you?
Proven experience in platform engineering (>8 years), cloud infrastructure, or related domains, ideally in a large-scale enterprise environment.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
Deep technical expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), automation, DevOps, and modern engineering practices.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to engage at all levels of the organization.
Strategic thinker with hands-on delivery experience and a passion for innovation.
Fluent in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is an asset.
