Planning & Progress Control Assignment
Large-Scale Gas Project within a Multinational Company
Assignment Conditions
Location: Paris, France
Remote work: Up to 2 days per week
Duration: 6 months, renewable depending on profile
Start date: ASAP (start between November 10 and November 24, 2025)
Project Context
Within a major program related to the Gas industry, the assignment consists of acting as a PMO, i.e. leading planning, progress tracking, risk analysis, and project reporting for the management team.
The expert will work in accordance with the company’s standards and in close coordination with EPC teams (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction).
Main Responsibilities
Build and maintain the Level 3 integrated schedule (resource- and cost-loaded) using Primavera P6
Review and validate the Basis of Schedule and EPC contractors’ baselines
Perform Schedule Health Checks using Acumen Fuse (Deltek), including:
Logic Quality (logical links between activities, dependencies, artificial lags)
Schedule Integrity (calendars, constraints, durations, float)
Performance & Realism (realism of durations, milestones, float, etc.)
Risk Readiness (readiness for schedule risk analysis)
Define productivity standards, progress measurement methods, and EVM (Earned Value Management)
Conduct schedule risk analyses (using Primavera Risk Analysis)
Monitor schedule deviations and their impacts on the critical path
Propose action plans and mitigation scenarios to ensure project deadlines
Assess change orders and their schedule impacts
Develop management dashboards and KPIs (leveraging P6 data in Power BI)
Produce weekly and monthly reports for project teams and site management
Required Profile
Senior Planner – 10 to 15+ years of experience in industrial project planning
Strong expertise in Primavera (Oracle)
Minimum 10 years in Oil & Gas, including at least 6 years on construction sites
Proven experience in Offshore (e.g. topsides, jackets) and Onshore (e.g. pipelines, refineries, tanks) projects
Skills & Tools
Advanced proficiency: Primavera P6
Expert knowledge: Primavera Risk Analysis, Acumen Fuse, Power BI, EVM tools
Expertise areas: Planning, EVM, risk analysis, reporting, progress control, data capitalization, project management
Languages
English & French: Fluent
Preferred Certifications
PMP or PMI-RMP
