Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct a search for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer for our client, a world-class AI infrastructure solutions company in San?Francisco.
This is a full-time, direct hire position with a hybrid schedule in San?Francisco. Position Overview

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data-center infrastructure tooling, including asset management, deployment automation, and operational dashboards.
Lead automation initiatives to enhance infrastructure resilience, efficiency, and scalability as the data-center footprint grows.
Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions that meet operational and engineering needs.
Support build-vs-buy decisions, ensuring selection of optimal technologies for automation, monitoring, and management.
Mentor peers, uphold best practices, and drive continuous improvement in infrastructure automation, architecture, and development workflows. Qualifications
Proven experience (5+ years) in building and deploying scalable, distributed systems using Go, Rust, Java, C+, or similar.
Strong hands-on expertise with NetBox or comparable data-center infrastructure management tools.
Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), automation tools (Ansible, Terraform), and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub Actions, CircleCI).
Deep understanding of data structures, concurrency, network programming, and Unix/Linux environments.
Experience with data-center tooling, DCIM concepts, and infrastructure automation. Compensation & Benefits
