As a key member of the Strategy leadership team, reporting to the VP, Enterprise Transformation, the Director of Enterprise Analytics will be instrumental in shaping and driving the company's analytics strategy and decision-making capabilities. This role will focus on leveraging advanced analytics, business intelligence, and performance metrics to inform and influence strategic initiatives, operational efficiencies, and business growth.
The Director, Enterprise Analytics will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive data and insights agenda, transforming complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations. This leader will work closely with cross-functional teams across the organization to ensure that data-driven insights are aligned and integrated into all aspects of the business, including creating and maintaining an enterprise dashboard/scorecard that tracks insight use and impact across functions.
This role requires a combination of strategic thought and tactical execution with a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-impact analytics initiatives, building data-driven cultures, and influencing key business decisions. The individual will play a critical role in ensuring that data and insights drive both short-term performance and long-term strategic success for the company.
Competencies for Success
To be successful in this role, the Director, Enterprise Analytics will:
Design and implement comprehensive analytics strategies that provide deep insights into business performance, trends, and opportunities, ensuring alignment with Planet Fitness strategic objectives and tracking impact via enterprise dashboards/scorecards.
Act as the go-to expert for cross-functional analytics within the organization, providing thought leadership and developing strategies that inform business decisions, operational improvements, and growth initiatives.
Promote the use of data and analytics across the organization, fostering a data-driven culture that drives business performance, optimizes processes, and enhances decision-making.
Work closely with senior leaders across Planet Fitness to integrate data insights into key business decisions, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
Leverage both qualitative and quantitative data to uncover actionable insights, utilizing advanced analytics tools, technologies, and methodologies to stay ahead of emerging trends and business needs.
Together with IT, standardize and interpret complex data from various sources, providing clear, actionable recommendations that drive strategic decision-making, improve operational performance, and maximize business outcomes.
Establish and manage relationships with internal and external data partners and vendors, ensuring data integrity, quality, and access to best-in-class analytical tools and technologies.
Advocate for the power of data-driven decision-making within the organization, ensuring that insights are at the forefront of strategic and operational planning.
