We are currently seeking competent individuals to fulfill the role of Senior Python Developer to join our dynamic team for our client, one of the major banks.

Location Address: (Hybrid) 2 days in office

Contract Duration: Oct 31, 2026 – 10 months

Possibility of extension & conversion to FTE? – Yes / possible

Job Description

-Take on challenging development tasks

-Lead and coordinate deployment to IST, UAT and production

-Lead and attend code review and follow/set/re-enforce standards

-Can identify risks early in the project and adjust priorities as they come up

-Lead the project team and coach / mentor the junior developers

-Be innovative and suggest process improvements

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

- 8-9 years of experience with Python, Python Flask, MS SQL

- 5 years of experience working with Google Cloud services, example: Airflow & Kubernetes, Cloud storage

Nice-To-Have Skills:

-Unix OS basics (Building commands)

-Capital Market knowledge

- SAS development experience,

- Docker configurations

-Front-end development experience

-optimization of database performance

Soft Skills Required:

- Ambitious, self-starter, positive attitude, strong communication skills,

Education & Certificates:

• Post-Secondary Education is required, but would be preferred in a related field

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science.
