Location: Strasbourg, France (On-site at client premises / hybrid)

Job Type: Contract B2B

Day Rate: €600

Duration: 1 year plus extensions

We are recruiting for our client, a major organization in Strasbourg, a Senior Operations Support Engineer to join a critical project.

You will be integrated into a development team, working directly with the client's IT department to ensure the stability and performance of complex, cloud-native production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the resolution of high-severity incidents and conduct root-cause analyses.
Define monitoring strategies and optimize observability for proactive issue detection.
Coordinate maintenance, validate deployment plans, and ensure compliance with security baselines.
Collaborate closely with DevSecOps and Database Administration teams.

Required Expertise:

University degree in IT + 7+ years in enterprise IT operations.
3+ years in a senior role managing complex, cross-system incidents.
Excellent hands-on experience with:
Container/Cloud platforms: Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker.
ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change).
Linux/Unix, CI/CD (GitHub), and scripting/automation.
IAC & Monitoring: Terraform/Ansible, Prometheus/Grafana.
Strong understanding of middleware (API gateways, messaging).
Excellent communication skills and fluent English.
