We’re looking for a Cloud Architect with a strong engineering background who designs cloud architecture and remains hands-on with delivery. This role suits someone operating at senior engineer level, with the confidence to own architectural decisions, set standards, and guide engineering teams.

Role

Designing, building, and evolving cloud-native solutions primarily in Azure
Owning cloud architecture across multiple workloads and environments
Defining best practices around security, scalability, resilience, and cost optimization
Working closely with engineering, platform, and DevOps teams to turn designs into reality
Reviewing and improving existing cloud estates
Providing technical leadership and architectural direction without line management

Responsibilities

Strong commercial experience designing and delivering solutions in Microsoft Azure
Background as a senior cloud / platform engineer with clear architectural responsibility
Azure core services (compute, networking, storage, identity)
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM, etc.)
CI/CD and modern DevOps practices
Cloud security and governance
Ability to communicate architecture clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Comfortable making decisions and standing behind them

Nice to have

Experience with AWS in addition to Azure
Exposure to hybrid or multi-cloud environments
Certifications (Azure Architect, AWS, etc.) are useful but not essential
