Position: Software Developer (Active Open Source Contributor)

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $120–$150/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 20–30 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

Analyze and resolve software issues from large open-source codebases.
Write, test, and validate code to address bugs and system inefficiencies.
Implement and refine APIs, backend services, and infrastructure components.
Configure development environments to debug and reproduce complex issues.
Support AI research initiatives through high-quality software contributions.

Requirements

Strong years of professional software engineering experience.
Proven contribution history to major open-source repositories.
Strong proficiency in Python and backend development.
Experience with API development, testing frameworks, and debugging tools.
Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
