Senior Backend Engineer | Software Development (SME)

Essential skills:

4+ years of Backend Development experience.
Programming skills in Rust OR C++.
Interest to rapidly prototype and iterate on ideas
Exposure with distributed systems OR large-scale engineering.
Passion for creative thinking and user-centric innovation.

Day to day:

Designing and implementing high-performance backend services.
Writing clean, maintainable and efficient code to power the platform.
Building APIs that handle millions of requests while ensuring low latency and high reliability.
Debugging complex issues and optimising critical parts of the system.
Collaborating with frontend engineers and product teams to deliver new features.
Iterating on backend components to improve scalability, stability and security.
