Java Developer – Financial Services

Location: Burgess Hill

Contract: 12 months

SC Clearance: Essential

Are you an experienced Java Developer looking to make an impact in the financial services sector? You'll be working with a Global Brand in a dynamic team, working on cutting-edge projects that drive innovation and reliability in high-availability systems.

What You’ll Do

Design and develop robust Java applications (Java 11+).
Implement automated testing and ensure quality through Test-Driven Development.
Build and maintain event-driven, microservices architectures for distributed systems.
Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines and leverage Cloud services for seamless deployments.

What We’re Looking For

Strong hands-on experience with Java application design and development.
Familiarity with Spring Framework, Vert.X, and application containers.
Proficient in Git, Maven/Gradle, and version control best practices.
Experience with JUnit, unit testing frameworks, and API development.
Knowledge of DevOps concepts, CI/CD tools, and Cloud technologies.
Exposure to Splunk for monitoring and troubleshooting.
