Details:

Hybrid (4 days a week in office)

Pay rate: $42 per hour with 2 weeks PTO, 10 days holiday pay, and ability to opt into medical, dental, and vision insurance

Location: Kanata, Ontario

Our client is seeking to hire a person with embedded software development expertise.

This team develops control algorithms and produces code for vehicle features related to climate, starting, locking, lighting, alarms, windows, powered enclosures, and seats.

Skills Required:

1. Embedded Software - 3-5 years of experience, Blackbox testing is embedded systems.

2. Automotive protocols CAN/LIN - candidate needs to have working level experience with them

3. Test methodologies - we need good understanding how requirements translated to test cases

Skills Preferred:

1. Automated Scripting - intermediate level of python

Experience Required: understanding of embedded SW automation testing on HW - knowledge of automotive protocols - Python coding experience

Experience Preferred: Requirement Analysis and review Define Test Strategy for Black Box testing which includes Functional and Integration level Testing Testcase Authoring Testcase Automation Test environment setup [Jenkins] Analyze Test execution Results Defect creation Defect reproduction support Defect Triage Continuous quality improvement by analyzing the leaked defects and enhancing the Testcases

Education Required: Bachelor's Degree
