Senior Mobile Engineer | React Native | Up to £80k | London Hybrid

You'll own the mobile function. Not just tickets, not just features - the whole thing. Full freedom over the tech stack, architecture decisions, and how you build. React Native, Expo, TypeScript, TanStack Query, Zustand - modern tools, no legacy mess.

You're building tools used in critical national infrastructure, heritage sites, and major facilities by security teams in high-pressure, real-world environments. One app is live (guarding app for on-site officers), the other is greenfield (long-form security risk assessments linked to Martin's Law). Both are yours to shape.

The interesting technical challenge? Offline functionality at scale.

Think capturing photos underground or in areas with zero signal, then syncing when back online. Thousands of users depend on this working flawlessly.

What they need:

4+ years building production-level mobile apps in React Native
Deep familiarity with Expo and modern React Native tooling
Experience building apps with offline functionality (critical - this will be used in underground or poor signal areas)
Strong understanding of mobile performance, security, and scalability
Comfortable working across the stack when needed (RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL, basic AWS)
Someone who can mentor and eventually lead as the team grows

The interview process is straightforward: Culture fit chat with the engineering team, a small React Native test (2 hours max), then the final stage with senior leadership.
