Workday Solution Architect – Initial Implementation

We are looking for an experienced Workday Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of an initial Workday implementation for a large end customer with approximately 3,500 employees.

This is a key role within a high-profile transformation programme, delivered using the Workday Launch methodology, where you will act as the architectural authority across functional streams and ensure best-practice Workday design aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead solution architecture for a greenfield Workday implementation
Define and validate end-to-end Workday design in line with the Launch methodology
Translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions
Provide architectural governance across Core HCM and associated modules
Guide functional consultants and collaborate with technical and integration teams
Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and the end customer
Support testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilisation

Required Experience & Skills

Proven experience as a Workday Solution Architect
Strong background in initial / greenfield Workday implementations
Solid understanding and hands-on experience with the Workday Launch methodology
Experience working with organisations of 3,000+ employees
Deep functional knowledge of Workday Core HCM (additional modules are a plus such as base compensation, recruiting, base compensation, security and standard reporting)
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
