M365 Backup Design Architect required to join a leading brand in Sheffield on a contract basis.

Responsibilities

Define and own the end-to-end architecture and strategy for Rubrik-based Microsoft 365 backups across an enterprise tenant.
Design highly available backup and recovery solutions for Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams, ensuring security, regulatory compliance, and integration with existing identity and infrastructure.
Lead capacity planning for large-scale tenants, providing technical leadership, governance, and documentation throughout delivery.
Required Skills

Microsoft 365 experience delivering enterprise-scale tenant backup solutions.
Deep expertise in Rubrik Enterprise Backup (or equivalent Microsoft 365 backup platforms).
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture, APIs, and large-scale enterprise deployments.
Knowledge of GDPR and regulated environments, with strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
Open to candidates in the Midlands - ideally located in Sheffield, Doncaster, Barnsley, Mansfield, Rotherham, Nottingham, Stockport, Manchester and any local cities/towns.
