Job Summary:

The Accounting Clerk is mainly responsible for general accounting transactions and monitoring Fixed Asset and A/P register. We are looking to hire a 3 month fixed term contract and the role will be based out of our Newcastle, UK office. Employees will be required to work in the office 2 days/week.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for monitoring open POs
Evaluating incoming vendor invoices and required approvals
Monitoring A/P Register and processing for payment
Monitor Fixed Asset Register
General accounting journal entries and basic account reconciliations

Required Qualifications & Competencies:

Bachelor's degree (or studying towards) in Accounting or related field
Proficient organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Some experience with Microsoft Excel and Word

Desired Qualifications & Competencies:

Internship or prior office work
Experience using NetSuite or similar ERP
Basic Microsoft Excel Competency
