Senior Solutions Engineer (Data & Analytics)

Contract | £500 per day | Outside IR35 | Remote (UK) with occasional London travel

A fast-growing AI and data platform provider is expanding its UK presence and is looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to work directly with customers on complex data and analytics challenges.

This is a highly consultative, customer-facing role where you’ll act as the technical bridge between a cutting-edge data platform and enterprise data teams — helping clients unlock value from their data without disrupting or exposing underlying source systems.

The Role

You’ll work closely with customers to design, implement and optimise analytics solutions using a modern data platform that enables organisations to analyse and work with their data securely — without directly querying or moving production datasets.

This role combines:

Hands-on data and analytics work
Architecture and solution design
Client consulting and enablement

You’ll be supporting analytics use cases that mirror real customer environments, including technologies such as Snowflake, dbt, Spark and other modern data tools.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a trusted technical partner to customers throughout delivery and adoption
Work hands-on with customer data and analytics use cases
Design and support data and analytics architectures aligned to client tooling
Help clients integrate the platform into existing data ecosystems
Troubleshoot, optimise and guide best practices
Collaborate closely with internal engineering and product teams
Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused outcomes

What They’re Looking For

Strong background in data, analytics or data engineering
Experience working with modern data platforms and tooling (e.g. Snowflake, dbt, Spark, cloud data stacks)
Comfortable operating in client-facing or consulting environments
Able to discuss architecture, analytics and data strategy with senior stakeholders
Enjoys communication, problem-solving and working closely with customers
Solutions Engineers, Analytics Engineers, Data Consultants or similar profiles all welcome

Nice to Have (Not Essential)

Experience supporting enterprise customers
Exposure to AI-driven analytics or data platforms
Background in SaaS, data platforms or cloud-native products

Logistics

Contract: £500 per day
Status: Outside IR35
Location: Remote (UK) with infrequent travel to London
Preference: Within ~2 hours of London (not essential)
