Position Summary

This role directly supports our meal-planning tool by ensuring recipe accuracy, quality control, and alignment with the Heirloom Diet's standards for 100% whole-food ingredients.

Primary Responsibilities

Work directly inside the app codebase
Write clean, well-documented code following internal standards
Collaborate with the product and operations teams to translate needs into technical solutions
Cross-check recipes and images before entry
Review recipes for ingredient accuracy, logical steps, portion consistency, and potential errors or unclear instructions
Find and propose new recipes for inclusion
Ensure all recipes use only whole foods (no ultra-processed ingredients)
Document any needed corrections or substitutions
Help categorize recipes (breakfast, lunch, dinner, family-friendly, quick prep, etc.)
Assist with building shopping list logic

Skills & Qualifications

Coding knowledge (through coursework or personal experience)
Passion for cooking, nutrition, or food blogging
Ability to work with existing software rather than starting from scratch
Strong problem-solving mindset
Familiarity with AI databases
Familiarity with recipe standards
