We are hiring a Network Operations Center Engineer. This role is ideal to start a Freelance career.

What you will do

Monitor and support critical IT and OT network operations in a 24/7 environment
Analyse and resolve incidents, escalating where needed
Participate in deployment and maintenance of network and security solutions (firewalls, routing, switching)
Assist in implementing connectivity for new projects, data centres, and cloud services
Perform changes in line with strict operational procedures
Collaborate with ICT teams across Belgium and Europe to ensure stable and secure connectivity

What you bring

First relevant experience in network operations or support
Knowledge of firewall operations (Palo Alto and/or Checkpoint)
Understanding of routing and switching (CCNA level or equivalent)
Familiarity with Cisco CLI and Python scripting
Experience with network monitoring, NAC, syslog, or authentication tools
Strong team spirit, yet able to work independently
