Job Specifications

We are seeking an experienced Consultant specializing in Data Warehouse (DWH) solutions to join our team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DWH databases and a proven track record of delivering high-quality consultancy services. This role requires a strategic thinker who can analyze client needs and provide effective solutions.

Responsibilities:

Engage with clients to understand their data warehousing requirements and business objectives.
Design and implement DWH solutions that meet client specifications.
Provide expert advice on best practices for data management and analytics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Conduct training sessions and workshops for client teams on DWH tools and methodologies.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization within client environments.

Mandatory Skills:

Extensive experience with DWH databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in data modeling and ETL processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with cloud-based DWH solutions (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery).
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7-10 years of relevant experience in data warehousing consultancy.
Certifications in DWH technologies or project management (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
