Senior AI Governance Manager – 6-Month Contract

Day Rate: £600–£700 (Inside IR35)

Location: 1 day per week into either London, Glasgow, or Cardiff office

Duration: 6 months

We are currently recruiting for a leading organisation seeking a Senior AI Governance Manager to spearhead the development and implementation of a robust AI governance framework.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence ethical AI practices and ensure compliance in a rapidly evolving space.

What You will Do

Design and implement AI governance frameworks aligned with industry best practices.
Define policies, standards, and controls for AI development and deployment.
Oversee risk and compliance, managing issues like bias, transparency, and accountability.
Act as the go-to expert for AI governance, engaging with senior stakeholders and external partners.
Establish monitoring and assurance processes for AI models and systems.
Drive cultural change towards ethical and responsible AI use.
Stay ahead of emerging trends and regulatory developments, influencing policy discussions.

Your background

Proven experience in AI governance, data ethics, or regulatory compliance.
Strong understanding of AI technologies and associated risks.
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear governance policies.
Familiarity with data protection legislation and ethical frameworks.
