HEAD OF DATA & INSIGTHS – FTC

SALARY – UP TO £110,000

LONDON – HYBRID

We are seeking an experienced Head of Data & Insights to join a growing, mission-driven organisation on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. Reporting into the CFO, this role will lead a small but expanding data team and play a pivotal role in shaping the data strategy during a critical phase of growth. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality insights, embedding robust data processes, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the business.

THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead and develop a data and analytics team, providing clear direction, coaching, and support
Own and deliver the data roadmap, ensuring alignment with commercial and operational priorities
Partner with senior stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable insights
Oversee the delivery of KPI dashboards, executive reporting, and ad-hoc analysis
Embed effective request and prioritisation processes for analytics and insights work
Support the development and adoption of advanced analytics and predictive models
Work closely with data engineering to guide the evolution of the data platform and tooling
Champion data quality, governance, and the use of a single source of truth across the organisation

YOUR SKILLS:

Proven experience leading data, analytics, or insights functions
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders
Excellent analytical and data storytelling capability
Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and BI tools (Power BI preferred)
Familiarity with modern cloud data platforms (e.g. AWS, Snowflake) Experience managing and developing senior data professionals
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
