Job Specifications

Contract: 12 months + extension

Location: Gloucester, England.

My client is seeking a DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to build, operate, and improve reliable, scalable platforms that support modern software delivery. The role focuses on automation, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines
Design and operate cloud and container platforms (Kubernetes)
Improve system reliability, performance, and availability
Monitor systems and respond to production incidents
Implement Infrastructure as Code and automation

Key Skills & Experience

Experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering
Strong Linux and cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Kubernetes and Docker experience
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent)
CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
Scripting (Bash, Python)

This position will require eDV (enhanced Developed Vetting) clearance
