Technical Business Analyst – Asset Management / Credit (Contract)

We are supporting a leading global alternative asset manager in the search for a Technical Business Analyst to join its Asset Management Credit platform, supporting Operations, Fund Finance, and Controllers. This is a long, ongoing contract role with strong visibility across front-to-back investment and operational workflows.
This role sits at the intersection of business, finance, and technology, partnering closely with Credit Operations, Fund Accounting, Global Business Finance, Technology teams, and external vendors to deliver scalable, high-quality technology solutions.
What You’ll Do
Partner with Credit Operations, Fund Finance, Controllers, and Business Finance to understand end-to-end processes, data flows, and control frameworks
Elicit, document, and manage business, functional, and technical requirements for new initiatives, enhancements, and regulatory-driven changes
Translate complex business needs into user stories, process flows, data mappings, and technical specifications
Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams (engineering, data, QA, vendors)
Support system implementations, integrations, and platform enhancements across the credit asset management lifecycle
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst within:
Asset Management
Private Credit / Credit Funds
Hedge Funds, Alternative Investments, or Investment Banking
Strong understanding of asset management operations, ideally within credit strategies (private credit, structured credit, distressed, direct lending, etc.)
Hands-on experience working with technology teams on system implementations or integrations
Strong skills in requirements documentation, process modeling, and data analysis
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
