Piper Companies is seeking a Backend Software Engineer (Python) for an award winning SaaS company in the Raleigh Durham, NC area.The Backend Software Engineer (Python) is a hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite.The Backend Software Engineer (Python) role is initially a 6 month contract position. There could be extension depending on the scope of work and budget.

Responsibilities For The Backend Software Engineer (Python) Include

Design, development, implement and maintain software features and integrations

Play an active role on scrum team successfully working towards sprint goals

Optimize code to enhance performance and scalability

Requirements For The Backend Software Engineer (Python) Include

Over 3 years of professional python development experience

Background within Django framework

Strong understanding of REST API development

Cloud background would be ideal

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and/or relevant work experience

Compensation Of The Backend Software Engineer (Python) Includes

$95,000 - $110,000 annually with Full Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law
