Job Title: Senior Full Stack Java Developer

Location: McLean, VA (5 days/week Onsite) (Only local candidates with ID)

Type: Contract to hire

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with expertise in Angular and Java. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of professional development experience and a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies. Additional skills in AWS and EKS are highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using Angular for front-end and Java for back-end services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with Angular and Java. Proficiency in Angular framework and its core principles.
Strong knowledge of Java programming language and related technologies.
Experience with RESTful APIs and web services. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with AWS services and cloud architecture. Knowledge of Kubernetes and experience with EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
Experience with Shell Scripting , Unix Working Knowledge Experience with RDBMS like Oracle , Db2 , Sybase etc
