About the Team
Join the database development team, where you’ll build and own cutting-edge database products supporting the company's global infrastructure. Our diverse portfolio includes relational databases, distributed caches, key-value stores, document databases, graph databases, wide-column stores, search engines, and multi-model databases. By joining this team, you will work with the best engineers and talents in this industry and have a broad opportunity to get in touch with the latest AI application system and newly emerged technology in computing, storage and silicon validation. You will gain remarkable hardware architecture, development and validation experience in the most advanced hardware infrastructure on a massive scale.
Responsibilities
- Partner with PMs and engineers from different teams on building data transmission products.
- Design and development of cloud solutions according to demand scenario.
- Conduct performance and scalability tests and research innovative ideas for improvement.
- Design and implement comprehensive unit, functional and system-test for product quality.
- Participate in the release and deployment process.
- Debug, conduct root cause analysis, diagnose defects.
- Solve unique, large-scale, highly complex cloud infrastructure problems.
- Participate in the team’s on-call rotation to keep services operational and highly available.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor/Master degree in computer-related fields.
- Minimum of 2 years of working experience in Software development field.
- Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages, such as Golang, Python, C++, etc.
- Demonstrated good coding practices, including code cleanliness, refactoring skills, and experience with unit testing.
- Familiar with one or more databases, including relational databases, NoSQL databases, analytical databases, document databases, and vector databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Mongodb, Redis, Clickhouse, Cockroachdb, Tidb, Oceanbase, etc Familiar with database data replication mechanisms
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with database kernel/database middleware/database management platform experience is preferred. (Commonly used databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Mongodb, HBase, Clickhouse, etc.).
- Familiarity with database log capture and analysis, message queue, ETL and other data processing technologies are preferred.
- Strong motivation for technology, good communication skills and teamwork spirit, excellent problem analysis and problem-solving skills are preferred.

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $129960 - $246240 annually.
