Azure DevOps / Platform Engineer (Contract)

Location: Remote (UK or Nearshore)

Start Date: End of January 2026 (Interviews early January)

Duration: Minimum 6 months

Day Rate: £400/day Outside IR35

About the Role

My client is seeking experienced Azure DevOps / Platform Engineers to join a major transformation programme. The focus is on enabling modern cloud infrastructure and self-service capabilities for BI platforms. Candidates ideally would have worked on Azure DevOps projects with a lot of Snowflake as well.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Azure DevOps.
Configure and manage networking, security, and containerisation within Azure environments.
Drive observability and monitoring across platforms.
Support creation of self-service capabilities for BI and analytics teams.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions.

Essential Skills

Strong experience with Azure DevOps and related tooling.
Expertise in IaC, networking, security, and containerisation.
Exposure to Snowflake or other modern data platforms.
Solid understanding of monitoring and observability frameworks.
